Download Page Appearances
Your download page has three appearances: Classic, Grid, and Reel. Each one comes in a light and a dark theme, and each has its own options. Pick an appearance, pick a theme, done. Available on Pro and Max plans.
Classic
The default appearance. A clean panel layout: the left side shows your upload title, file count, size, and expiry countdown, the right side displays the file list with previews. Classic is the most customizable appearance. With the custom theme you control every color on the page, including text colors, button colors, and the three line greeting.
Grid
A cinematic gallery that puts your files front and center. It opens on your logo, the transfer title, and who sent it, with the file count and total size right there. Add a cover photo and it runs full width across the top, fading into your background. Grid has a layout option: Aligned crops every file to a uniform tile for a tight, even grid, while Masonry lets each image keep its natural aspect ratio, so portrait, landscape, and square work flow side by side like a portfolio. Video tiles carry their length in the corner, so a recipient can tell a 15 second teaser from the full cut before clicking. Popular with photographers and videographers in the dark theme, and great for bright editorial presentations in the light theme.
Reel
One asset in the spotlight at a time. Reel shows a large preview of the highlighted file with a thumbnail strip underneath, and recipients move through the files with arrows, their keyboard, or by clicking a thumbnail. Videos play in the spotlight itself, so a cut can be watched without anything opening on top of it. Images get zoom controls: Fit, Fill, and 1:1 for actual pixels, with drag to pan while zoomed in, so a recipient can check focus and detail before downloading. Ideal for presenting a shoot, a design round, or any set of work where each file deserves full attention.
Aspect ratio
Classic, Grid Aligned, and Reel have an aspect ratio option: Square, Landscape, or Portrait. Square suits mixed sets and social crops, Landscape fits video thumbnails and film stills, and Portrait suits fashion and editorial work. Masonry always keeps every file's own ratio, so the option does not apply there.
Cover photo
Grid has a cover photo slot. Upload one and it spans the top of the page and fades into your background, so the page opens on your work instead of a header. Leave it empty and the title sits at the top with nothing above it. Covers can be up to 5 MB.
Themes and custom backgrounds
Every appearance ships with a light and a dark theme that just work. Want more control? Set your own background color or image on any appearance, any time. The page adapts automatically, text stays readable on dark and light backgrounds alike, and clicking Light or Dark brings you back to a preset. Your logo shows on every appearance and theme, in the color or image you choose.
How to choose an appearance
You can set a default appearance for every download page from the customization page in your account, where the live preview shows exactly what recipients will see. While you are sending, open Settings in the upload panel and select "Customize download page". The same editor opens over your upload with the files you just picked, so you see the page with your own work in it before you get the link. Every plan can try it. Saving the look for the transfer needs Pro or Max, and the Save button says which. You can also change the appearance of a transfer you already sent when you brand an individual upload.
What recipients see
Whichever appearance you choose, your recipients can always download everything at once, download individual files, and preview images and videos. Classic and Grid also let them browse folders and select specific files to download. Reel flattens folders into one continuous run of files, so every asset gets its moment.
