Sending Files
ZappFiles gives you two ways to share your files. You can generate a download link or send your files directly to someone via email. Both options are available right from the upload screen using the tabs at the top.
Get a link
Select the "Get a link" tab and ZappFiles will give you a unique download URL after your upload finishes. You can share this link anywhere: in a chat, text message, Slack, email, project management tool, or wherever works best for you.
This is the most flexible option. You decide where and how to share the link, and you can send it to multiple people at once since anyone with the URL can download.
Select the "Send via email" tab and a receiver email field appears. Enter your recipient's email address and ZappFiles sends them a download notification as soon as your upload completes. Quick and direct.
This is useful when you want the other person to get notified right away without having to send the link yourself. Everything happens in one step.
Your email address
You can optionally enter your own email address in the upload form. When you do, ZappFiles sends you a confirmation email with the download link after your upload finishes. Handy if you want a copy of the link in your inbox.
Which one should I use?
Both options result in the exact same download experience for your recipient. The only difference is how they receive the link. Use "Get a link" when you want full control over sharing. Use "Send via email" when you want ZappFiles to handle the delivery.
