Selecting Files

Drag and drop

Drag files or folders straight from your computer onto the ZappFiles upload area. A visual overlay appears when you hover over the drop zone, so you know exactly where to drop. Let go and your files are added instantly.

You can drag entire folder structures and ZappFiles will preserve the full hierarchy, including nested subfolders. Your recipients get the same structure when they download.

Select files button

Click "Select files" to open your system file picker. You can select multiple files at once by holding Ctrl (or Cmd on Mac) while clicking. All selected files are added to your upload list.

Select a folder

Click "Select folder" to pick an entire folder from your computer. All files inside the folder, including anything in subfolders, are added to your upload. The folder structure is fully preserved.

Adding more files

You can keep adding files before you start uploading. Each time you drag or select new files, they are added to your existing list. This makes it easy to pull files from different places on your computer without starting over.

Removing files

Changed your mind about a file? You can remove individual files from your upload list before sending. Just click the remove button next to the file you want to take out.
